Cadyville Hydroelectric Plant

Operating since 1921, the Cadyville Hydroelectric Plant harnesses the power of the Saranac River with three generators and a total capacity of 5.5 MW. Managed by New York State Electric & Gas Corp, it produces 26.3 GWh annually, supporting New York’s clean energy goals and reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
