A. What Information Do We Collect?
We gather personal information in several ways: (1) when you provide it directly to us; (2) automatically when you use our Site or Energy Services; and (3) from third-party sources. We may also merge data from these various sources.
- Information You Provide We collect data that you voluntarily share with us. This may include instances when you attempt to or successfully enroll as a customer of our Energy Services, visit one of our Sites, create an account or profile with us, subscribe to our newsletters or mailing lists, sign up to receive email or text updates from us, take part in a survey or promotion, submit a review, post comments or other content on our Sites, volunteer or host an event, apply for a job or internship, participate in interactive forums, or contact us for information or assistance. When you register for and use the Energy Services, your utility provider will collect certain data from you, such as your property address and utility account number. This data collection is governed by your utility provider’s privacy policies, not by this Policy.
- Automatically Collected Information We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, software development kits, and other technologies to gather specific details about visitors to our Sites, as well as interactions with our emails and online or mobile ads. These technologies allow us to track analytics and statistics that help improve our Services and deliver more relevant content and advertising. For instance, we (and our partners) automatically gather information like your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type, device type, unique identifiers for your devices, software version, geolocation, phone model, carrier information, referring websites, and your activity on our Sites. We may also gather details about your use of the Site, such as the date and time of your visits, the areas or pages you view, the amount of time spent on the Site, how often you return, click-stream data, and interactions with our emails (such as opens, forwards, or clicks).
- Information from Other Sources We may acquire personal data from additional sources, such as existing customers who refer you to our Energy Services, data brokers, your local electric utility, and public databases. This information may include your contact details, demographic information, interests, purchasing behavior, and information about websites or ads you have viewed or clicked on. We may also receive certain data about you from third-party platforms when you link to us (e.g., via social media). Based on your registration and privacy settings on those platforms, this data may include your name, username, demographic details, updated contact information, interests, and publicly-observable data such as social media or online activity.
- Combining Information We may combine the information we gather from and about you, including data you provide, automatically collected information, and data from third-party sources. We may also aggregate or de-identify personal information, so it is no longer reasonably linkable to you, your devices, or your household.
B. How We Share Your Personal Information

- Right to Correct: You have the right to request corrections to any inaccurate personal information we may hold about you, subject to proper verification.
- Account Modifications: If you have an account with us, you can view or change the information stored in your account by logging in and accessing the “Manage My Account” page.
