Abest Green Power is different because we offer renewable electricity supply pricing which is sourced from renewable resources across the United States. Your utility company does not offer renewable electricity. Our Customer Service team is the most experienced and professional throughout the energy industry. Abest Green Power is one of New York’s longest-serving renewable energy suppliers. We were founded with the mission to reduce carbon emissions by providing customers with products and services to lower their carbon footprint. The traditional generation of electricity from fossil fuels is the largest source of industrial air pollution in the U.S. When you choose your option of clean electricity from Abest Green Power, you are helping to do your part and make a difference for the environment.

Nothing changes. You’ll still receive your bill from – and pay – your utility. After signing up with Abest Green Power, you will see us listed on your utility bill as your renewable electricity supplier.

Never. You will continue to receive one monthly bill from your utility. Your renewable electricity supply charges will appear on the bill with Abest Green Power listed as your supplier. You continue to pay your utility just like always.

Yes. You can continue to pay your utility by whatever means you always have.

Yes. You will receive your bill on the same schedule as you do now.

Choosing Abest Green Power for renewable electricity does not affect your ability to continue a budget billing plan with your utility.

There are two main things that determine the amount of your electricity bill: the amount of electricity you used during the month and the electricity supply price you’re paying per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the electricity you used, or:

• # kWh used * cents per kWh rate = your electricity supply charges

Unlike other suppliers, Abest Green Power does not charge an additional monthly customer fee per monthly. As a matter of fact, we have no additional fees at all. No enrollment fees. No cancellation fees. No installation or deposit fees.

Abest Green Power offers New Yorkers choices in electricity products sourced from clean, renewable resources: Pollution Free electricity, made from renewable resources that we source from New York and across the United States., These products are available on month-to-month market renewable market-based rates.

We are currently enrolling and serving customers in the ConEd, O&R, NYSEG, RGE, and National Grid electricity service areas and providing Renewable Electricity supply.

Your energy supplier will begin providing your electric service on your next meter-reading date if you are enrolled at least 15 days before that date. Otherwise, service will start on the following cycle date. The process typically takes about 30 days.

You can sign up with Abest Green Power by clicking here by calling toll-free 888-987-6937. You will need your utility account number (15 digits in Con Edison; 10 digits in O&R and National Grid, or POD ID number15 digits in NYSEG and RG&E) to complete the signup. You can find your account number or POD ID number on your electric utility bill.  We love speaking with new customers so please be sure to call Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As long as you are the utility account holder or you are a decision-maker, you can sign up! Unfortunately, if you are receiving financial assistance from your utility company for your bill, we are unable to enroll your account because they are the best choice for you at this time.

When you sign up for our Renewable Electricity supply with Abest Green Power, we will notify your utility that we will be your supplier. Once your utility accepts our request to enroll you, they will send you a confirmation letter acknowledging that Abest Power & Gas will be your electricity supplier.

Abest Green Power and your utility take care of all the arrangements. You won’t notice anything new other than the Abest Green Power supply charges on your monthly electric bill from your utility.

No. Electric choice means you can choose who supplies your electricity, not the utility that delivers it. By choosing who supplies your electricity, you can choose renewable energy like wind or solar.

No. Your utility supports energy competition and encourages customers to choose an energy supplier (ESCO) that is right for them. Your utility’s primary business role is delivering electricity to your home and maintaining that service. Abest Green Power is in the business of supplying renewable electricity and the utility delivers electricity to you. After you choose Abest Green Power,  your utility will still be there to read your meter, handle service calls, and provide emergency assistance. Energy competition is also supported by the State of New York.

Yes! When you sign up with Abest Green Power for your electricity supply, it reduces the amount of pollution that your household would otherwise omit.

The leading cause of industrial air pollution in the country is the production of electricity. While the majority of electricity generated in the U.S. is made by burning pollution-causing fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, our electricity is free of pollution, produced using clean, renewable energy from wind, solar, hydro, and other clean resources.

Energy sources that are either inexhaustible (solar, wind) or replenished over a short period of time (hydro, biomass, geothermal) are considered renewable. Most renewable energy comes from the sun – indirectly in the case of wind, water, and biomass; directly in the case of solar (PV) generation. Natural gas and coal, for example, are not renewable because their use consumes gas and coal reserves at a much quicker rate than they can be replenished. Nuclear is not derived from fossil fuels but has negative environmental impacts like harmful radioactive waste byproducts. TAKE nuclear part out, legislation is changing now!

Yes. The clean electricity you buy when you sign up Abest Green Power is pollution-free and clean.

When fossil fuels are burned, they release large amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the air. Greenhouse gases trap heat in our atmosphere, causing global warming.

Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources that consist of coal, crude oil, and natural gas.

We guarantee your first month’s price will be what you signed up for. We also guarantee that we provide renewable electricity supply that is sourced from renewable resources across the United States. After your initial month of service, you will still receive renewable electricity at a highly competitive market-based price. We strive to keep our pricing as competitive as we can for our customers, however, market conditions may vary, and our pricing may do the same. You can cancel at any time without penalty.

Even though the geographic areas are nearby each other, the costs to supply electricity are different based on the New York power grid zones; thus, the pricing offered by us may vary accordingly.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the traditional production of electricity from fossil fuels is the leading cause of industrial air pollution in the U.S. Choosing Abest Green Power electricity products helps encourage the development of new renewable, pollution-free generation facilities in New York and nationally.

Abest Green Power customers are not charged fees to cancel or change their plans.
